London 9th May 2022 Typical! The hay fever season has just arrived and antihistamine tablets are already out of stock, possibly because the number of people suffering from one of the three forms of hay fever is believed to have increased from 30% of the population to nearly 49% in the past five years.
And while it’s fine to try plenty of vitamin C or probiotics or even pineapple for relief, a more reliable solution is at hand thanks to two Smart, sophisticated Air Purifiers from Netherlands based Princess: a hugely successful European appliances brand for more than 25 years, using its expertise to develop affordable, well-designed products and solutions.
Pure Air – without the sneeze
2021 was officially one of the worst on record for hay fever – with the knock-on effect of also increasing sensitivity to over allergies including dust mite.

The reason would seem to be climate change, including higher temperatures and increased CO2 levels allowing pollen to be produced stronger and for longer while also allowing non-indigenous species of plants to grow further north than previously.
The Princess App controlled air purifier range is the perfect, allergy free solution and includes two high-quality Smart models.
The 356160 is ideal for smaller areas – ideally of around 17m² - including on-desk use with a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 160 m³ per hour.
The larger version is the 356280 – for spaces up to 35 m² - with an impressive CADR of 280 m³ per hour.
Triple filtering is featured in both models including a pre-filter, a HEPA filter – removing up to 99.97% of airborne allergens as small as 0.3 microns and including all types of pollen while an Activated Carbon filter is designed to remove smoke, smells, and other odours.
Both models feature an advanced air quality sensor, with the air purifiers indicating the current air quality status via their integrated light ring - or via the Smart Climate App - showing green when the air quality is very good, yellow when the air quality is good, orange when it is moderate and red when it is bad.

The air purifiers can also be set to turn on automatically when they detect unwanted particles in the air.
Other common features include a temperature and humidity sensor, a timer function – offering various intervals, including 24-hour via the app – and a filter change indicator.
All of the features can be operated via the free Princess Smart Climate app that is compatible with both iOS and Android phones and tablets.
